andstuff | Basically, suppose a guy has mars in aqua and Venus in Gemini - would this make him chilled out about living with someone he's not in love with ? [background: he keeps telling me he's in pain and keeps sending me weird things whilst living with some salesgirl who can't spell. I'm just trying to understand, with my heavy Neptune/Pluto (we were based in different counties most of the time so he couldn't be with me) Thanks in adv |
KarkaQueen | My boyfriend has Venus conjunct Mars in Gemini, not at all. He finds that disgusting and heavily immoral, he would never do it. Hehas Jupiter in Capricorn Fourth House btw |
Kerosene | Venus in gemini men are good at separating love and lust. He could be using her, he seems dishonest. I wouldn't trust him. |

I wouldn't think so Oh you're right! Never mind, my boyfriend is the only exception I knew a Pisces Moon and Venus Gemini man just like my boyfriend ,but he was moe into casual sex and not true love, also eh was a "playa" ehhh deevolved |
virgolotus | I'm a Libra Venus and Gemini Mars uhh I think my Venus craves a relationship but then I'm really really fickle. |

Ha! Exactly! I keep saying to myself its just not cool sending me love letters under the circumstances. Because it's like immoral, by my standards at any rate, I'd never do this Can you tell me more about the separating love and lust part? Because I have never been able to understand how it's possible. Do they still desire the ones they love but just make arrangements of convenience that don't live up to their emotional needs? |
happyaskings | I dated a guy with these placements. I could see him doing it in a roommate situation (sleeping in separate rooms, paying for everything separately) but he's not the type to "play house" and act like a couple if he wasn't actually dating the girl. It would be a restriction on his freedom, plus he wouldn't want any other girls thinking that he was off the market lol. |
Doux Rêve | Usually men (and some women) with an Air Venus or Mars have no trouble separating love and lust. Actually a lot of people do this, regardless of their placements.. that's just how it is. But I can see how it may be easier for Air-influenced people because they can rationalize everything and are more detached than others.

GemNymph | I would say a lot of people confuse love and lust, while Airy types are better at being aware of the difference as we're not as emotionally or morally defensive about our motives and needs. While I confess I (Gem Venus, Aqua Mars) find a lot of people's attitudes toward sex to be silly and neurotic and I really wish people would just get over themselves already about how they think people ought and ought not to be having sex, I think the notion that Airy types, and especially Airy men, are cool with casual sex is rather overblown. A lot of that depends on our Sun and especially Moon sign, as those effect how we approach relationship and intimacy overall, not just sex and romance. |
ail221 | Living together is living together. I'd live with a salesboy that can't spell if they're paying for half of the rent. Gemini Moon/Venus |
